So a few weeks ago we found out there there was going to be a fun fair in town, 'Cheltenham by the sea' and i got unbelievably excited. I grew up with fairs throughout the whole of my childhood and i always got massively excited for all the really old rides, like the swings, Carousels, Jumping jacks, hook-a-duck, so i knew that i had to go there! We got there a few days ago to have a quick look round and wait for the fireworks and when we arrived, In all honesty it was a bit of a let down, there was none of the rides that I was expecting to be there, however i still enjoyed the atmosphere of it massively. Going straight back into my childhood i had to have a go on the 2p machines to waste my money on them and win absolutely nothing. I thought as well to document the night as well, so here you go, heres my interpretation of funfairs!

So about 2 months ago I went to Shanghai, Wanting to capture Shanghai in a new light I decided that 'shooting from the hip' A technique that i gained from college would give me the desired effect that I wanted. For this i wanted to capture Shanghai for what it really is, rather than the modernisation i wanted to look down the grubby backstreets to see what i could find, and here is my results.

As well as this i also created a book on my time in shanghai, which gives a much more in depth view into Shanghai which can be found here:
